Production Shift Supervisor- B Shift (3:45pm-4am)

Production Shift Supervisor Calbee America is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Shift Supervisor to lead all manufacturing activities during assigned shifts. This role is responsible for driving safe, efficient, and high-quality production while fostering a positive, aligned, and high-performance team culture. The Production Shift Manager will provide hands-on leadership on the production floor, ensuring daily targets are met, operational issues are addressed promptly, and employees have the tools, training, and support needed to succeed.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving capabilities, and champions continuous improvement. This leader actively builds team capability, promotes accountability, and partners closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on Calbee's "Japan Quality" standards and operational goals.Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all shift operations to meet production schedules, throughput goals, and KPI targets.Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and food safety programs (GMPs, HACCP, SQF, etc.).Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to production team members.Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Sanitation to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time.Promote continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing corrective actions.Ensure accurate and timely completion of shift reports, production records, and pass-down communication.Support onboarding, training, and cross-training programs to build a skilled and flexible workforce.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment aligned with 5S and lean principles.Qualifications: 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing; food industry experience strongly preferred.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and build effective teams.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, KPIs, and performance management.Familiarity with lean manufacturing, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or manufacturing systems a strong plus.Calbee North America is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to a policy of non-discrimination in employment on the basis of race, color, age, sex, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, citizenship, ancestry, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or familial status or any other legally protected status.
