Technology Specialist
Job GoalsTo serve as a primary district contact for staff seeking technology support, training, or assistance with instructional toolsProvide support with installation and maintenance of technology (hardware and software), and provide training to staffAssist with administration of Google Workspace administrationManagement and maintenance of all district and classroom technology equipmentMinimum QualificationsHigh school diplomaExperience working with PCs, Chromebooks, and iPadsStrong working knowledge of Google Workspace appsWorking knowledge of SCCM, InTune, and JAMFExperience working with Classlink, IncidentIQ, and Microsoft 365 is preferredNetworking experience and knowledge is also preferredMust provide current and clear BCI/FBI background checksPerformance ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with the technology department and district administration, address technology needs and assist with future technology planning Act as a support for district staff to implement programs and technology that will enhance teaching and learningProvide support for all staff in use of software, along with installation and maintenance of hardware and softwareWork with Academic Achievement department on program implementationTroubleshoot hardware and software, and repair when possibleAssist in maintenance of network infrastructure, if necessaryWork with technology staff to develop and maintain an inventory system for districtParticipate in appropriate in-service, training, and technical support to remain current on technology developments and methodologyMaintain ethical and professional behavior at all timesAbility to handle confidential and sensitive informationDisplay a positive, respectful demeanor with students, staff, and community membersOther duties as assignedEmployment Details260-day contractSalary commensurate with experienceFor more information, please contact Glenn Welker, Director of Technology (glennwelker@bwls.net).
