Senior Underwriting Counsel

To support a growing real estate services company, the full-time Senior Underwriting Counsel will provide legal guidance on underwriting matters, manage risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while working remotely. Key responsibilities Provide legal advice and support on underwriting issues and policies Conduct risk assessments and manage underwriting-related legal matters Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the title insurance industry Required qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Active bar membership in the relevant state(s) Minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting or related legal practice Strong knowledge of title insurance and real estate law Experience in managing complex legal issues and risk assessments
