Registered Nurse – Acute CareLocation: White Salmon, WAEmployment Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Travel Assignment)Contract Length: 13 weeksSchedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12sPosition OverviewAmergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in beautiful White Salmon, Washington. This full-time, 13-week night-shift opportunity is ideal for travel RNs looking to combine strong clinical practice with the lifestyle benefits of the Pacific Northwest.The Acute Care RN will assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound clinical judgment, strong critical-thinking skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based acute-care environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care in a Medical-Surgical setting.Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately using evidence-based clinical practices.Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.Accurately document nursing care, assessments, and interventions within the electronic medical record (Cerner preferred).Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.Demonstrate accountability for patient outcomes and support unit-based standards of care.Assist and support fellow nursing staff as needed to promote optimal patient care delivery.Consistently perform duties in accordance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.Minimum RequirementsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington (or compact-eligible).One (1) year of recent professional nursing experience in a Medical-Surgical setting preferred.Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred based on facility requirements).Full command of the English language, both verbal and written.Current health clearance requirements (per facility contract or state regulations).Current PPD or chest X-ray, as required.Successful completion of background screening and agency onboarding requirements.Highly Qualified Candidates Will DemonstrateTwo years of acute care and critical access hospital experienceStrong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills in an acute-care Med-SurgFamiliarity with Cerner electronic health records preferred.Professional communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.Ability to adapt quickly to new environments, workflows, and patient populations.A consistent record of professionalism, reliability, and commitment to high-quality patient care.Benefits At AmergisCompetitive pay & weekly paychecksHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) savings planAwards and recognition programs
