Security Supervisor

Security SupervisorOverview Aventus Security is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee our diverse range of security operations. This position requires an individual who is adept at managing multiple security sites, interfacing with upper management, and enhancing the overall safety protocols across our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of security procedures, and the ability to adapt to varying environments. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular site visits to ensure all security measures comply with company standards and client expectations. Serve as the primary point of contact between security personnel and upper management, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues. Develop and implement security protocols and standard operating procedures across multiple sites. Oversee the training and development of security staff to ensure high performance and compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Manage scheduling, site coverage, and deployment of security teams to various locations. Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and lead disciplinary actions when necessary. Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed. Prepare and present detailed reports on security status, incidents, and site visit outcomes to upper management. Implement crisis management plans and respond to emergencies with professionalism and authority. Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and make recommendations for security enhancements. Qualifications Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar leadership role in the security industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and sites simultaneously. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Knowledge of legal guidelines for private security and public safety. Familiarity with incident reporting and emergency response planning. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with security management software is a plus. Valid California Guard Card required. SB 1626 Security Officer Training certificate required. California Sexual Harassment Prevention Training certificate required. Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel between multiple client sites. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
