Med-Surg Nurse (RN) in Elkhorn City, KY

Deliver expert care in a dynamic surgical and orthopedic telemetry unit within a respected Level II Trauma Center. This 12-hour night shift role requires a skilled RN with Med Surg/Tele experience, ready to provide comprehensive patient care across varied in-patient settings. Flexibility is essential as floating between units and occasional aide duties may be required. This contract opportunity spans 8 weeks with a guaranteed 48 hours weekly, ensuring a stable, impactful assignment.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Active KY or Compact RN license requiredCurrent AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certificationsMinimum 1 year RN experience in Med Surg/Tele specialty, with Level I or II Trauma exposureProficient in reading and interpreting telemetry stripsExperience charting in Care View and/or EPIC preferred; on-site training availableAbility to manage change well, maintain resilience, and contribute as a reliable team playerAdherence to COVID-19 vaccine policies or weekly testing compliance if medically/religiously exemptLocation: Situated near Elkhorn City, KY, this assignment is within a 75-mile radius of Pikeville, KY.
