Substitute NursesThe Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for substitute School Nurse positions that may be available within our division for the 2026-2027 School Year.Primary Responsibilities: The School Nurse will assist the Lead Nurse in the organization, administration, and implementation of school health services and will function as a contributing member of the school health team.Minimum Qualifications: Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Virginia or Current license to practice as a licensed professional nurse in Virginia Current certification in CPR and First Aid Dependability and punctuality requiredPreferred Qualifications:Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN)One year of recent nursing experiencePrevious experience in public health or general nursing; preferably in school nursing or community health nursing with childrenFLSA Non-exemptSalary: $28.53/hour LPN: $29.95/hour RN (salary may change due to 2026-2027 budget considerations)Closing date: Open until filledEqual Employment OpportunityThe Montgomery County School Board is an equal opportunity employer, committed to nondiscrimination in recruitment, selection, hiring, pay, promotion, retention, or other personnel action affecting employees or candidates for employment.
