We are proud & honored to provide these services.Overview of position:We are looking for a Platform Engineer/Architect Senior to work in Indianapolis, IN.An active Secret security clearance and a United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.ResponsibilitiesProvide senior platform engineering support for DFAS CCE infrastructureProcess CCE priority Tier 3 DFASNow support ticketsSupport implementation of new hardware and software into DFAS CCETake actions required to properly test, configure, and install new technologiesEnsure no conflicts when implementing new technologiesDevelop briefings, studies, project estimates, and cost benefit analysesDevelop detailed design documentation for critical design reviewSupport CCE infrastructure monitoring and service deliveryMaintain engineering network configuration documentationCoordinate with government team members on coverage and workload balanceExperience/Skills:8+ years enterprise systems engineering experienceWindows Server administration expertise (AZ801-802 certification)Security+ certification demonstrating baseline security knowledgeExperience with enterprise virtualization platformsProficiency in MECM, SCOM, and Microsoft System Center suiteExperience with Directory Services (Active Directory)Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux server administrationExperience developing technical documentation and design specificationsFamiliarity with DoD change control processesPreferred Qualification:CISSP certification (upgrade path)Azure administrator certificationVMware VCP certificationExperience with DFAS or DoD financial systemsPrior DoD infrastructure engineering experienceKnowledge of DISA STIGsExperience with containerization technologiesEducation:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldCertifications:Microsoft Azure AZ-801 & AZ-802CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD-approved IAT Level II certificationClearance:Active Secret Security clearance is required.Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC'S
