Site Lead / Social Scientist

Job DescriptionWhat You Will Be Doing:Leading a multidisciplinary technical team conducting research and development of advanced graph-based models and analytic methodologies.Designing, developing, and evaluating modeling techniques integrating social science, statistics, modeling and simulation, and GIS frameworks.Conducting lines of analysis relevant to HUMINT, including:Spatiotemporal analysisSocial network analysis (SNA)Industrial systems analysisData analytics and exploratory data analysisAll-source intelligence integration (preferred)Developing and implementing models such as co-traveler analytics, anomaly detection, and graph-based models derived from social network analysis literature, as well as other analytic models as required.Building and delivering functional prototypes demonstrating model implementation and operational applicability.Providing deliverables including well-documented source code and reproducible analytical workflows. Prototypes shall be implemented using technologies such as:Python (primary language)Jupyter NotebooksFlask, Streamlit, Dash, or comparable web-based application frameworksR or other innovative programming environments, as appropriateExamining, assessing, and refining methodologies and algorithms to improve robustness, scalability, and computational efficiency.Identifying analytical gaps and proposing mitigation strategies to enhance methodological soundness and mission effectiveness. Required SkillsMust Have:MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Statistics, Social Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related discipline.Demonstrated expertise in social science research methods and quantitative analysis.Experience developing graph-based models and conducting social network analysis.Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.Experience developing analytic prototypes and deploying web-based analytical applications.Knowledge of GIS tools and geospatial analysis methodologies.Ability to work with complex, multi-source datasets.Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and government briefings.Master's degree and 6 years' experience OR PhD and 4 years' experience. Desired SkillsNice to Have:Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.Familiarity with HUMINT workflows and all-source intelligence analysis.Experience with anomaly detection, co-traveler analytics, or related advanced analytic techniques.
