Sr Software Engineer (C++, Python)

This role focuses on building scalable full stack solutions using a combination of low-level and modern programming languages, while supporting containerized and distributed systems.The ideal candidate has strong experience in C/C++ and Python development, along with expertise in Kubernetes and containerization technologies, and experience developing applications used by analysts or end users in mission-focused environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full stack applications supporting analyst-driven use casesDevelop backend systems and high-performance components using C and C++Build and integrate applications and tools using Python (including SWORD-based environments)Develop user-facing features and interfaces to support analyst applicationsDeploy and manage applications in containerized environments using Docker and KubernetesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutionsPerform testing, debugging, and performance optimization across systemsSupport system integration and deployment within distributed environmentsContribute to continuous improvement of application performance, scalability, and usabilityRequired QualificationsMust be fully cleared with a recent MD polygraphMust be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this postingBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)14+ years of experience as a Software EngineerStrong experience with full stack developmentStrong programming experience in C and C++Experience developing applications using Python (SWORD experience preferred)Experience working with Kubernetes (K8s)Experience with containerization technologies such as DockerExperience developing or supporting analyst-facing applicationsDesired QualificationsExperience working in distributed or cloud-based environmentsFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesExperience optimizing performance for large-scale or high-throughput systems#CJFantom Corp is a Software Development, Agile Cloud, Cyber Security (Risk Management, Assessments & Authorization (A&A)), Data, AI Platform (Computer Vision Models), Podcasting Media Services, and IT Services provider.
