Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level M) to join our Space Launch Systems team in Huntsville, Alabama.Position Responsibilities:Leads Supply Chain activities for Space Launch Systems team supporting the Avionics IPTPerformance-to-Plan for supplier design, production, testing & qualificationManages procurement plans and transactional activities for all Avionics suppliersOversees teammates co-located at critical suppliersActs as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreementsManages employees and mid level managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processesDevelops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectivesAcquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsProvides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools.Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managersThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Shift:This position is for 1st shift.NASA Access:This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.This position must meet export control compliance requirements.
