Apply now!Company Profile:Well-established organization known for its long-tenured workforce, strong internal culture, and commitment to operational excellence.HR Manager Role:The HR Manager will serve as a hands-on leader within a small, tenured HR team, overseeing core HR operations and ensuring compliance, consistency, and a strong employee experience across the organization.The HR Manager will be responsible for day-to-day HR execution including employee relations, leave administration, benefits, compliance, and policy management.This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, and requires someone who thrives in a structured, in-office environment with high visibility across the organization.Own and administer full-cycle leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, and all other employee leave types with strict compliance adherenceServe as the primary lead for employee relations, handling sensitive issues, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns with professionalism, tact, and discretionProvide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, documentation, and disciplinary actionsMaintain and update the employee handbook, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment lawsEnsure consistent application of employment law compliance, with emphasis on federal and Tennessee regulations and exposure to multi-state requirementsOversee benefits administration, including open enrollment, vendor coordination, claims resolution, and invoice reconciliationSupport recruiting and onboarding efforts for salaried employeesMaintain accurate and compliant HR records, files, and documentation systemsManage HR systems and portals, including PaycomProvide backup support for payroll processing functions as neededSupport development, updates, and enforcement of HR policies and proceduresPrepare and maintain required internal and regulatory HR reportingAct as a trusted HR resource with an open-door approach to employees and leadershipHR Manager Background Profile:6+ years of progressive HR experience (10+ years strongly preferred)Bachelor's degree requiredSHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferredStrong knowledge of employment law (federal + Tennessee required)Demonstrated experience in leave administration (FMLA, ADA, etc.) requiredMulti-state HR compliance experienceExperience in manufacturing or operational environmentsBackground in small to mid-sized organizations where HR professionals wear multiple hatsExperience with Paycom or similar HRISStrong track record of job stability and tenureFeatures and Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Bonus
