Job Title: Lead Java Developer (Remote) Location: Remote Positions: 6 Openings Duration: 3+ Months Contract Pay Rate: $60-70/Hr on W2 Job Description: We are seeking Lead Java Developers for a contract opportunity with Capital One. This role is ideal for developers with a strong background in Java, Spring Framework, and API development. Preference will be given to candidates with prior Capital One experience, but a solid understanding of the banking domain is also acceptable. Key Responsibilities:Lead the backend development of robust Java-based applications.Utilize Java Standard and Enterprise Edition for enterprise-level solutions.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Web Services.Apply test-driven development (TDD) and work with automated testing frameworks.Leverage AWS Cloud services for deployment and scaling.Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure project success. Required Skills:Minimum of 5 years of experience with Java Standard and Enterprise Edition.At least 3 years of experience with the Spring Framework.At least 3 years of experience with API development and REST Web Services.At least 2 years of experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.Experience with AWS Cloud services.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong communication and self-motivation. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with web UI frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS.Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/CD).
