In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure the integrity of our books. You will work closely with management and/or the accounting team to keep financial data organized, up to date, and compliant with applicable regulations.The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and confident using QuickBooks to bring accounts through the trial balance stageResponsibilitiesRecord and categorize financial transactions accurately in QuickBooksReconcile bank and credit card accountsVerify accuracy and completeness of financial dataMaintain general ledger and prepare accounts through trial balanceManage accounts payable and accounts receivableAssist with budgeting and basic financial analysisPrepare financial reports as neededSupport tax preparation by organizing records and completing required formsEnsure compliance with accounting best practices and internal controlsQualificationsAssociates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting roleStrong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheetsStrong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
