With expertise in troubleshooting and a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, the Maintenance Mechanic 3 plays a critical role in supporting operational efficiency.Job DetailsPosition Type: Full-time/Hourly (Non-Exempt)Pay Range: Competitive - Discussed during interviewWork Location: Plymouth, Michigan 48170Key ResponsibilitiesUse hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to repair and maintain machinery in accordance with diagrams, blueprints, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specificationsPerform basic to complex routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipmentDiagnose and repair break down in machineryHandle complex mechanical issues and refer more complex problems to higher-level staffProvide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members as needed.Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned.Skills/CompetenciesManufacturing supportTroubleshooting Proficient in equipment monitoring, maintenance, and repair Calibration Numerical Control Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Hand tools Mentoring and training Process documentation Teamwork and collaboration Strong manual dexterity and ability to lift/move heavy objectsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team and interpret work instructions accurately.
