Infant Teacher

Full Time Infant Teacher: River Road Early Learning Center is looking for dedicated individuals who possess a passion for early childhood education and a genuine love for working with infants. This role requires patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of infant developmental milestones. An infant Teacher plays a fundamental role in the early development stages of a child's life, providing nurturing care and stimulating educational activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical growth. Responsibilities: Monitoring and assessing the developmental progress of each child. Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy classroom environment. Providing regular communication and updates to parents regarding their child's progress. Supporting emotional and social development by encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts. Ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations related to early childhood education and care. Feeding, diapering, and comforting infants as needed. Organizing and supervising interactive play activities. Encouraging language development through reading, songs, and conversational interactions. Collaborating with co-teachers and staff for seamless classroom management. Recognizing and addressing any special needs or dietary requirements. Communicates frequently with children throughout the day, naming objects, actions, using who, what, when, where. and why, and open ended questions. Build positive relationships with families. Reliable. Work between the hours of 7:30 am-5:30 pm. Benefits: Center paid vision and dental insurance. Paid Holidays. PTO. Summers optional. 2 weeks off in December.
