This role assists teaching staff with daily activities, classroom routines, and supervision of children. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative school environment, is flexible, and helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging space for children throughout the day, including afternoon and end-of-day routines. Key Responsibilities Support teaching staff with daily classroom activities and routinesHelp create a safe, clean, and organized learning environmentSupervise children during indoor play, outdoor activities, and transitionsAssist with setting up learning materials and classroom activitiesProvide additional support in classrooms when needed. Help with afternoon and end-of-day procedures to ensure classrooms are prepared for the next day. Ensure children are properly supervised and engaged throughout the dayWork collaboratively with teachers and staff to maintain a positive learning environmentQualifications High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience working with young children or in a childcare setting preferredStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to adapt and provide support in different classroom environmentsReliable, patient, and supportive when working with children.
