Packaging Operator (Night Shift 6p-6a)
Position OverviewResponsible for packing all products produced by the Creston, Iowa facility.Key ResponsibilitiesPackage products using state of the art Flour packaging equipmentLabel product to confirm proper packaging requirementsUtilize proper Person Protective Equipment and General Manufacturing PracticesOperate industrial fork truck to stage and package productsEnsure Bagger and Toter are running properlyMaintain clean work environment in the packaging areasCleans all spills immediately when noticedFollow all GMP requirementsReport any food safety or quality issues immediately to a supervisor or member of Quality AssuranceOther duties and responsibilities as neededRequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Basic computer skills, including experience with operating menu driven programs and a computer mouse.Valid Driver's LicensePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
