Finance and Investment Manager
About the Role We are seeking a strategic Finance and Investment Manager to lead our Finance team and drive the financial performance of our organization. This role offers the opportunity to influence key business decisions in our Family Office, manage a diverse investment portfolio, and play a pivotal role in mergers, acquisitions, and growth initiatives. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing insights that shape the company's financial strategy.The Finance and Investment Manager will be responsible for direct management of the growing Melroc Family Office Finance team, working collaboratively and managing both Melroc finances, as well as the investment companies in a finance related capacity. As a trusted member of the family office, this role requires flexibility and a willingness to learn and support multiple business divisions, across various business sectors at different stages of their life cycle. Adaptability and a passion for detailed forensic analysis are critical skills for this position. This role encompasses direct responsibility for finance, treasury, taxation, risk management, internal/external Audit, and financial control and reporting.The Manager plays a significant role in the leadership, formulation, and contribution to the strategy of the investment businesses, including supporting M&A activity, overseeing Melroc's diverse investment portfolio, evaluating investment opportunities, maintaining agreements, managing listed equities, and developing exit strategies.
