Business Analyst

Role Name: Business Analyst Location: New York Job Description Key Responsibilities:Support analysis of trade position, holding valuation, and reference dataAssist in understanding the investment trade lifecycle across front office, middle office, and back office systemsGain hands-on exposure to IBOR and ABOR concepts and data flowsSupport documentation of business requirements and functional understandingExecute standard SQL queries to validate investment dataAssist with IBOR vs ABOR reconciliations, identifying basic breaks and variancesPerform data completeness, accuracy, and consistency checksValidate downstream reports against source data under supervisionSupport creation of data governance documentation including data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, and basic data lineage documentationAssist in documenting known data issues, assumptions, and resolutionsFollow defined data governance and quality standardsWork with senior analysts, QA, and data engineering teams to investigate issuesParticipate in Agile ceremonies including standups and backlog groomingTrack defects and action items using enterprise tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps "All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran."
