Job Description Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team. In this role, you will build and maintain pipe systems in both Schools, Residential and Commercial Building. You will read blueprints, plan installations, and prepare pipes. The ideal candidate is analytical, with attention to detail and experience with pipes of a variety of materials. Responsibilities Able to read and comprehend blueprints, specification and project schedulesCoordination and installation of overhead sprinkler systems.Responsible for participating and attending weekly job site safety meeting.Willing to travel to local job site locationsWilling to Travel frequently Be physically fit to perform the demanding work of the trade including maximum occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent lifting up to 25 pounds. Standing and walking for the majority of the workday.Measure, cut, weld, assemble, lubricate, and install pipesTest system functionalityRepair any leaks or malfunctionsUse a variety of hand and power toolsWork with other construction professionals to complete projectsFollow all relevant safety guidelinesQualifications5+ Years of Previous experience as a Fire Sprinkler PipefitterStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detailKnowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelinesRequired to pass full background check for Public School, Federal and Goverment Buildings.Excellent communication skillsAbility to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting heavy objectsAbility to work overtime when required
