Software Test Engineer

Key areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to the following: Contribute as part of a small test team, involved in all aspects of software test (requirements, design, development, integration, and test) using a wide variety of programming languages and technologies including Java, Javascript, and C# Manually test software systems Build, maintain and run Automated testing Build, test, and maintain mock environments Document product features, tests, and other processes Communicates status to the product lead and other stakeholders Writes code when not performing other testing duties Desired Skill/Qualifications: Familiar with the software test and development life cycle Familiarity with software test/development – Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS Familiarity with Javascript frameworks and tools such as JQuery, Backbone, Angular, Selenium, and Leaflet Familiarity with software development tools such as Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Maven Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively learn new technologies and adapt to new environments and methodologies Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Flexibility to quickly adjust to the changing needs and priorities of a rapidly growing business Team player Self motivated Education and Experience: Computer Science degree, or a related degree or trade Due to security requirements US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED Focused Support LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in the Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify (Employment Eligibility Verification) program.
