International Origin & Destination Services Coordinator
General SummaryThe International OA/DA Coordinator is responsible for effectively coordinating all aspects of international origin and destination move services with international accounts, survey desk, booking offices, local operations and transferees when requested. This position maintains a working knowledge of all facets of international origin and destination services to ensure total international account and customer satisfaction when using move services.Role And ResponsibilitiesReceives request for services from international accountsEnters data into AtlasNet accurately, as well as sending and receiving multiple emails to effectively communicate. Scans in all pertinent documents and information into AtlasNet images at time of order entry.Contacts survey desk to schedule surveys (virtual or in-person)Full coordination of all international origin and destination orders, obtain documentation and the scanning of all documents into AtlasNet systemsProvides accurate estimated costs to international accountsCollects any COD charges if requested by international accountObtains proper approvals for necessary services prior to services providedRequests job stops from survey desk, if requested by international accountScheduling delivery of shipments from storageFollows VIP process for any VIP shipment as notified by international accountBuild relationship with international accounts to increase move opportunitiesKnowledge, Skills And Abilities RequiredExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with customers and co-workers in all levels of the companyAccurate, detail oriented and dependable Ability to organize and prioritize workloadAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to interact effectively and maintain a positive, “Whatever It Takes” service attitudeAbility to demonstrate ingenuity and prompt action in resolving customer or international account issues and defusing challenging situationsIndustry experience and knowledge preferred2-3 years previous customer service experience preferredProficient with Microsoft Office computer programsPhysical And Mind Set RequirementsSitting for long periods of timeWorking under time constraints to meet schedulesPleasant, outgoing personality and good rapport with othersSelf-starter, working well without supervisionDependable attendance and punctualityWorking closely with others, clear verbal and written communication, cognitive hearing and listening to others
