Our passion, creativity, and innovation drive us to capture what moves.We are currently looking to hire a 2 nd Shift Packer for our Wayne, NJ manufacturing facility. Responsible for packaging finished and semi-finished goods from Production or stock using packing equipment such as high-pressure pumps, spigots, hoses, filters, etc., applying customer specification and manufacturing standards. Responsible for moving finished and semi-finished goods from the Packing/Manufacturing area to designated Shipping area or onto a truck.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Applying customer specification and manufacturing standards and procedures, pack finished goods and prepare for shipment using high-pressure pumps, spigots, hoses, filters, etc. Accurately label every container and ensure all drums are closed properly. Use computers and scanners to validate packagingIn the case of discrepancies, reweigh drums and report overage or shortage to Team Leader or SupervisorPack excess product appropriately for return to stockComplete process order by recording packed containers and associated net weight via computerMay assist replenisher to load tanker truck with finished productMust be able to distinguish gross, net and tare weightsRetrieve packaging material for use in Packing Area such as pallets, drums and other containers used for finished and semi-finished goods in advance of packing orders. Replenish these and other consumables as needed. May use palletizer in preparing order for shipmentLoad finished goods into staging area or directly onto awaiting truck, following all safety protocolsPractice good housekeeping of workstation, tools and equipment. Report missing or damaged tools and equipment to Team Lead, Supervisor or MaintenanceOperate in a safe and timely manner and according to predefined instructions, GMP and SOPs to meet specific quality standards. Diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience in a warehouse environmentMust be able to read/write EnglishMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsStanding, stretching, walking, lifting and climbing ladders may be requiredMixing and measuring skills may be required MANE offers industry leading benefits including a generous PTO plan. Pay Transparency Disclosure: The anticipated pay rate for this position is $22 per hour plus a $2 shift differential. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, geographic location, and applicable legal considerations.
