This is a hybrid role based in J&J's New Jersey locations.The IMT SC Large Program AI and Data Platform Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing, deployment and management of enterprise technology AI products and IMSC integrated data platform. This role leads work across multiple Technology Product and Platform Management families, with accountability for AI end‐user applications, and AI‐enabled platforms supporting the IMSC Transcend program. The Manager ensures alignment between business objectives, AI‐ready data maturity enabled by SAP BDC and AI capabilities enabled by SAP Joule, and scalable technology solutions integrated with broader IMSC Data and AI platforms (Aspire.ai) , while driving measurable business outcomes through disciplined software engineering, platform governance, and innovation.Expanded Scope of ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and manage technology products and platforms, including enterprise applications, systems software, mobile/web solutions, databases, and AI/data platforms.Lead requirements analysis and high‐level solution design by converting internal and external customer needs into scalable software and platform architectures.Define and govern overall solution structures, core elements, interfaces, dependencies, and non‐functional requirements across complex technology landscapes.Oversee software development activities including programming, configuration, scripting, and database development to deliver organization‐specific solutions.Direct planning and execution of software and platform testing strategies, including automation, risk tracking, defect analysis, and quality reporting.Ensure effective deployment, maintenance, and continuous evolution of applications and platforms through disciplined SDLC, DevOps, and change management practices.Manage work across multiple Technology Product and Platform Management families, ensuring prioritization, dependency alignment, and consistent delivery standards.AI, Data, and Platform LeadershipLead engineering and operationalization of AI‐enabled products (SAP Joule), decision intelligence solutions, and data platforms (SAP BDC) integrated with SAP and IMSC ecosystems.Align AI capabilities with data maturity to ensure deterministic and auditable business outcomes.Define platform strategy, architecture decisions, and build/buy/blend approaches in partnership with enterprise architecture and business AI leadership.Ensure responsible AI practices including data privacy, security, explainability, fairness, and regulatory compliance.Governance, Risk, and ComplianceEstablish and enforce technology, data, and AI governance frameworks across product and platform portfolios.Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act).Track and report technology and delivery risks throughout development and testing lifecycles.People, Portfolio, and Financial ManagementLead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering, data, and AI teams.Manage complex portfolios with accountability for delivery, value realization, and budget outcomes.Drive AI literacy, change management, and workforce enablement across the Transcend program.Required Skills:Preferred Skills:Advanced Analytics, Change Management, Critical Thinking, Data Analysis, Data Privacy Standards, Data Quality, Data Reporting, Data Savvy, Data Science, Data Visualization, Developing Others, Digital Fluency, Inclusive Leadership, Leadership, Process Optimization, Relationship Building, Statistical Computing, Strategic ThinkingThe anticipated base pay range for this position is :$102,000.00 - $177,100.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:Vacation -120 hours per calendar yearSick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar yearHoliday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar yearWork, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar yearParental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a childBereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar yearCaregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 daysVolunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar yearMilitary Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
