You’ll work directly under our Senior Sales Representative, learning how commercial sales actually works in a technical, relationship-driven industry. Your job is to feed them qualified opportunities — and to learn, every single day, how to become a closer yourself.You’ll spend most of your time on outbound prospecting: cold calls, email sequences, LinkedIn outreach. You’ll qualify leads, book discovery meetings, and keep our CRM clean and current. You’ll also get supervised field exposure — attending industry events, ride-alongs to client meetings, jobsite walks — so you learn the technical and relationship side of the business, not just the phone side.Why LifotekYou won’t be one of fifty SDRs in a noisy bullpen pulling from a shared lead list. You’ll be the second sales hire at a company being built from cold start, working directly with the Senior Sales Rep, the General Manager, and the CEO. The relationships you help build are the relationships the company will be known for. The expectation is that within 18–24 months, the right person grows from SDR into a full Sales Representative role — running their own deals, owning their own pipeline, and earning closer-level commission. That growth is on you to earn, but the path is real and the company is committed to it.About Lifotek SystemsLifotek Systems LLC is a commercial low-voltage and security integrator based in Plano, TX, serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. We design, install, and service structured cabling, IP video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and AV integration for commercial clients. Backed by an international parent company with deep engineering capability, we are building our DFW operation from the ground up — and looking for the next generation of sales talent to grow with us.What You’ll Do•     Run outbound prospecting campaigns (cold calls, email, LinkedIn) targeting GCs, electrical contractors, property managers, and A/E firms across DFW•     Qualify leads against our ideal client profile•     Book discovery meetings for the Senior Sales Representative•     Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records and weekly pipeline reports•     Attend industry events (TEXO, BOMA, AGC) alongside the senior rep•     Shadow client meetings, jobsite walks, and proposal reviews to build industry knowledge•     After 60–90 days of training, take on capability statement drop-offs to lower-stakes targets independently•     Continuously improve outreach scripts, email templates, and qualification criteria based on what’s workingWhat We’re Looking For•     Bachelor’s degree (any major) OR equivalent work experience demonstrating drive and discipline•     Excellent verbal and written communication — you can hold a phone conversation with a senior contractor and write a clean, error-free email•     Genuine hunger to learn sales as a craft, not as a stepping stone to “something else”•     Comfortable making 40+ outbound calls per day and following up persistently•     Coachable — willing to be corrected, to take feedback, and to apply it the next day•     Highly organized; you can manage your own calendar, follow-up cadence, and pipeline without being micromanaged•     Curious about how things work — you want to understand the technology you’re selling, not just read a script•     Valid Texas driver’s license, reliable transportationNice to Have (Not Required)•     Internship or part-time experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a related field•     Exposure to construction, technology, AV, IT, or security industries•     Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)•     Active in business or sales-oriented student organizations during collegeCompensationCompetitive base salary plus performance-based commission.
