ServiceNow Business AnalystThe Business Analyst (BA) acts as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams by analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions that drive business value. The role involves requirements elicitation, process analysis, documentation, stakeholder management, and support throughout the solution lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirements ManagementEngage with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirementsElicit, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and non functional requirementsTranslate business needs into clear, structured artifacts such as:o Business Requirement Documents (BRD)o Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)o User Stories & Acceptance Criteria* Ensure requirements are traceable throughout the project lifecycleProcess & Gap AnalysisAnalyze existing business processes ("As Is") and design optimized future-state processes ("To Be")Identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunitiesSupport business process reengineering and transformation initiativesStakeholder CollaborationAct as a single point of contact between business users, product owners, developers, testers, and vendorsFacilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and design discussionsManage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across teamsSolution Support & DeliverySupport solution design by providing clarifications to technical teamsParticipate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews (Agile environments)Assist QA teams with test scenarios, UAT coordination, and defect triageSupport post implementation activities and continuous improvementDocumentation & GovernanceMaintain up to date documentation in line with organizational standardsEnsure adherence to internal controls, compliance, and audit requirementsProvide regular status updates, reports, and metrics to leadershipRequired Skills & QualificationsCore SkillsStrong experience in Business Analysis and Requirements ManagementExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsExpertise in documentation techniques and modeling toolsAbility to translate complex business problems into sim ple, actionable requirementsTechnical & Functional Skills (as applicable)SDLC methodologies: Agile / Scrum / WaterfallTools: JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, MS Excel, PowerPointExperience with APIs, data flows, or system integrations (preferred)Domain knowledge in BFSI / ITSM / ITOM / Digital Platforms (preferred)Desired CompetenciesAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and quality orientationAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesAdaptability in fast paced, changing environmentsStrong customer and business focusNice to HaveCBAP / CCBA / PMI PBA certificationExperience with ServiceNow, ERP, CRM, or core banking platformsExposure to automation, AI, or data analytics initiativesSuccess MetricsAccuracy and completeness of requirementsStakeholder satisfactionTimely delivery of project milestonesReduction in rework and defects due to requirement gapsSalary Range- $100,000-$120,000 a year#LI-SP3#LI-VX1
