Here, you'll be part of a team that values collaboration, recognizes contributions, and supports your growth.Benefits:Company paid vehicleFuel cardiPhoneiPad401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, visionLife insurance, short term disability and long term disabilityCompetitive payPTOEligible for Incentive BonusReferral Bonus ProgramSecurity Service Technician Job Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the job responsibilities.Services Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm SystemAbility to program all GSSC systemsTests all equipment and verifies signals to ensure proper performance of systems.Educates and trains customers on system operation and functionality of systemsCommunicates daily with Customer Service Coordinator on delays, requirements, and general status of service ticketsManages individual truck stock inventory, materials, tools, and company equipmentReads and interprets wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer manualsComplies fully with the safety programs of GSSC and the ClientHandles on-call duties on a regular basis with additional payPerforms system preventative maintenance of customer equipmentPositively represents GSSC to customers with consistent professionalismAll other duties as assignedFire TasksInstallation and maintenance of Fire system installationsConduct annual and semi-annual fire alarm inspections as needed.Completing the Record or Completion (ROC) for completed systemsCompleting inspection reports for municipality required inspection schedulesFiling ROC and Inspection reports within the ERP system and required compliance website locationsPrinting required documents for site storage after an ROC or InspectionFollow up Inspection visits for repairs on failed pointsCompleting separate repairs as per required to pass an inspectionSecurity Service Technician Minimum Qualifications:Hold a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record2 years of experience in the commercial security field specific to service of equipment, including Access Control, CCTV, Networking, Wireless Intrusion, Wired Intrusion and Fire Alarm SystemsRequired to be punctual to required work locations and complete scheduled service calls in a timely mannerWorking knowledge of UL certification requirements, testing, documentation and serviceAssociate degree required or 2+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read Blueprints and utilize manufacturer manuals and technical supportAbility to be on the On-Call rotation throughout the year including a minimum of one holiday per year, one week at a time (number of weeks within a year are dependent on the number of individuals in the rotation) You will receive extra pay for weeks you are on call.Preferred Qualifications:BICSI CertificationNICET CertificationComputer/Networking ExperiencePower Limited Technician (PLT) Licensed or willingness to receive PLT License within 6 months of employmentPhysical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:Employee is required to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers.Ability to complete ladder work, operate scissor and boom lifts, move boxes, and lift, up to 50lbs.Reaching, grasping and carrying activities also required.Moderate noise level in the work environment.Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.TravelSome out of town travel required
