API Gateway/Platform Engineer

12+ years of experience in platform engineering, backend development.Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for building microservicesExperience designing and deploying RESTful APIsPractical experience with OAuth2/OIDC authorization frameworks Hands-on experience deploying and managing APIs through API Gateway solutions (AWSAPI Gateway, Kong, Apigee, or similar)Experience running and operating workloads on Kubernetes, ideally Amazon EKSSolid understanding of AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with AWSUnderstanding of API security best practices (OAuth2)Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyNice to have - knowledge of Akamai GTM
