With a history spanning over seven decades, we are committed to providing comprehensive care and support to help our clients thrive.ClinicianDescription:Astor Services For Children & Families, NYS-Licensed Article 31 outpatient mental health clinic, is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to work in a fast-paced, educational and challenging environment. This is an amazing opportunity to continue to learn and practice with a diverse population that experiences a variety of mental health diagnoses. You will receive on-going training in evidence based practice, clinical supervision, and opportunities to receive CEUs, if needed. Individuals of all levels of experience, with a dedication to providing quality mental health services are welcome to apply. Join our multidisciplinary team serving children, adolescents, and their families in the Hudson Valley. The Clinician provides necessary support, psychoeducation, and clinical interventions to ensure client needs are met and works with families to increase engagement in treatment to make progress towards presenting problem.Responsibilities:• The clinician explores client's understanding of their problem; assists in clarifying the current impact of the problem for client, family and referral source if applicable.• The clinician demonstrates understanding and competency in mental health diagnoses and use of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).• The clinician understands and employs the mental status exam as an initial and ongoing tool for treatment.• The clinician demonstrates ability to assess and follow protocol for High Risk clients.• The clinician collaborates and participates in multi-disciplinary team to provide and receive support.• The clinician consults with collateral contacts, community agencies and resources to ensure comprehensive treatment and support for client and their family.• The clinician demonstrates willingness to provide feedback when asked about quality of services, and maintains consistent communication with collaborating providers in order to provide best quality of services to meet the client's needs.• The clinician incorporates treatment for clients and families with co-occurring disorders.• The clinician shows willingness adapting to changing policies, protocols and clinical documentation.• The clinician represents the agency in a professional and positive manner while promoting core values of the agency.What we provide:• Opportunities to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.• 4 weeks paid vacation annually;• 13 paid holidays, 4 personal days;• 1 sick day per month, accruable to 150 days;• Fully paid individual LTD and life insurance;• Eligible for participation in agency medical and dental plan both individual and family, with small employee contribution.• New longevity incentives.Salary: $54,109-$60,479/yearJoin Astor Services - Apply Now!Do you meet the qualifications above?
