Our Patient Access Assistants are the first point of contact for our patients and visitors and perform registration duties within the hospital and clinic. This role requires independent analysis, exercise of judgment and detailed knowledge of facility procedures related to the work performed. You will be responsible for verifying patient and insurance information, scheduling appointments, obtaining and identifying information necessary to produce billable patient accounts and more!Schedule:Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. CloudDay shift | working hours between 6:30am-7:15pm Monday - FridayCommon shift would be 8:30-5:30pmEvery other Saturday rotation working 8am-4pmPay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $18.28 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience Pay range: $17.00 - $25.54 per hourTuition reimbursement and college grant programs availableFull-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 1 year clerical, administrative, or customer service experience; OR 1 year of prior scheduling, billing, patient access, accounts receivable and/or collections experienceCustomer service skills are essentialGood verbal and written communications skills required.CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
