BAMCO is a 100% employee-owned company (ESOP) that prides itself with an unparalleled commitment to excellence for our customers, our company and all our stakeholders.We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Material Handler to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations by ensuring materials are efficiently moved, stored, and prepared for use. The Material Handler must be capable of organizing and prioritizing materials in coordination with department managers, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, as well as loading and unloading as needed. This role also includes routine equipment inspections and general warehouse support.Key Responsibilities:Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safelyLoad, unload, and transport materials as needed to support production and ensure smooth workflowBundle and tag completed trim and angle materials; store them neatly in designated areasEnsure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards both inside and outside the facility with materials easily accessibleEnsure materials that cannot be stored in wet conditions are properly protected or relocatedOrganize and stage materials for production or shipmentFollow and implement instructions from supervisorsPerform daily forklift inspections and submit weekly inspection reportsCooperate in safety programs, initiatives and investigations. Comply with all safety procedures.Participate in clean-up responsibilities and maintains daily good housekeeping practices according to 5S procedures.Perform other duties and tasks as required.Requirements/Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar roleAbility to lift and move heavy materials safelyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamCommitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environmentPrevious experience operating a variety of powered industrial vehicles, (forklifts, etc.)Proven ability to accept and apply feedback and directives from supervisors and other team members.Workers are required to be on time for every shift.Desired Qualifications:Excellent time management and organizational skills.Experience working in a collaborative environment promoting a teamwork mentality.Strong sense of personal accountability.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingESOP - Employee Stock Ownership PlanHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off (Holidays/Vacation)Professional DevelopmentBAMCO inc. is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms.
