Senior Python Developer

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about creating high-quality software, this is the perfect opportunity to elevate your career and make a significant impact. *Duties* * Develop, enhance, and maintain backend systems using Python, ensuring high performance and scalability across distributed computing environments. * Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party platforms. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture, employing UML diagrams and system design principles for efficient development workflows. * Lead code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to uphold code quality standards within an Agile software development lifecycle. * Integrate cloud infrastructure solutions such as AWS or Azure to support scalable deployment models and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. * Contribute to database design and optimization using relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB. * Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to ensure project milestones are met efficiently. *Requirements* * Proven experience in developing high-performance backend systems utilizing Python in a professional setting. * Strong knowledge of software engineering principles including object-oriented programming (OOP), application design, and system architecture. * Hands-on experience with web development frameworks such as Django or Flask, along with RESTful API design best practices. * Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, React or Angular is a plus for full-stack collaboration. * Proficiency with version control tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket; experience with TFS or SVN is advantageous. * Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes. * Knowledge of database management including SQL T-SQL scripting, stored procedures, schema design, and optimization techniques. * Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes. * Ability to write comprehensive unit tests for code coverage; experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment is preferred. * Excellent debugging skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in complex environments.
