Instructional Coach

Position SummaryThe Elementary Instructional Coach serves as a building-based, non-evaluative instructional leader who partners with teachers to strengthen instructional practice and improve student learning outcomes. Through job-embedded professional learning and the facilitation of high-functioning Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), the coach supports effective implementation of district curriculum, instructional priorities, and the district's Strategic Plan by building teacher capacity and driving improved student outcomes at the building level.QualificationsValid Indiana teaching license (Elementary Education required).Minimum of five (5) years of successful elementary classroom teaching experience.Demonstrated instructional expertise in elementary core curricular content.Experience facilitating professional learning, coaching colleagues, or leading PLCs preferred.Master's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field preferred.Thorough understanding of elementary curriculum standards and evidence-based instructional practices.Ability to analyze student data and translate findings into actionable instructional strategies.Skilled in building trust, facilitating adult learning, and supporting professional growth.Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently while aligning efforts with district and building priorities.
