Hiring for this role is contingent upon STGi's selection as the successful awardee.JOB SUMMARY:The Regional Vice President (R VP ) provides operational leadership and strategic oversight for multiple long-term care facilities within an assigned region. This role partners closely with executive leadership, clinical teams, and facility administrators to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and operational excellence. Travel is required and is extensive throughout assigned region.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Operational LeadershipOversee day-to-day operations of assigned long-term care facilitiesSupport and mentor Administrators and department leaders to achieve performance goalsEnsure consistent implementation of company policies, procedures, and standardsClinical & Regulatory OversightPartner with clinical leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsMonitor quality measures, survey outcomes, and corrective action plansSupport facilities during regulatory surveys and auditsFinancial PerformanceDrive financial performance by managing budgets, labor costs, and operational expensesAnalyze financial statements, census trends, and payer mix to identify opportunities for improvementCollaborate with finance and reimbursement teams to optimize revenueQuality & Performance ImprovementPromote a culture of quality, safety, and resident-centered careLead performance improvement initiatives across facilitiesMonitor key quality indicators including rehospitalization rates, staffing metrics, and resident satisfactionHuman Resources & Talent DevelopmentSupport recruitment, retention, and development of leadership and staffEnsure effective performance management and succession planningAddress employee relations issues in partnership with HRStrategic Planning & GrowthParticipate in strategic planning initiatives, including new facility onboarding and transitionsIdentify operational risks and develop proactive solutionsCollaborate with admissions, marketing, and clinical teams to support census growthREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA/NHA) required based on state510+ years of progressive leadership experience in long-term care or post-acute healthcareMulti-facility management experience strongly preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey processesProven leadership and team development skillsFinancial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational metricsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesAbility to travel regularly within assigned regionKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Regulatory compliance and survey outcomesFinancial performance and budget adherenceQuality measures and clinical outcomesStaff retention and leadership stabilityResident and family satisfactionREQUIRED EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands and work environment described herein is a representative of those that generally must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: This position primarily involves sitting, standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending/stooping, pushing and pulling (typical weight of 5 lbs. and maximum weight of 30 lbs., approximately), and lifting (minimum weight of 5 lbs. and maximum weight of 100 lbs., approximately).
