This individual will possess extensive experience in secure, scalable cloud infrastructure, with proven leadership capabilities. In this role, they will manage large-scale public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).The Cloud Infrastructure - Technology Engineering – Advisor role will afford you the opportunity to work as an individual contributor, while partnering with peers at the Manager and Senior Manager levels. The responsibilities include:Develop and execute strategic cloud infrastructure plans and drive best practicesDesign and implement cloud strategies and architectures.Build robust and modern solutions with hands-on codingFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with business goals.Stay current with cloud technologies and industry trends.Develop technical documentation and executive-level presentations.Mentor junior engineers.Ensure integration of cloud solutions with existing systems.Identify and mitigate risks; troubleshoot complex issues.Advocate for cloud best practices and standards.THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experiences6 years of hands-on experience engineering cloud platformsDesired ExperiencesBachelor's degree or equivalentCloud CertificationsExperience working in mission-critical environmentsTechnical SkillsSkilled in engineering resilient, highly available cloud solutions in secure multi-cloud environments e.g. AWS, Azure, GCPDeep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, network architecture, security, and identity management.Experience in building cloud environments (accounts and VPCs) and software-defined networking that allows for connectivity across the enterprise platformsAbility to design Fault Tolerant platforms and implement Failover and Recovery StrategiesSkilled in DevOps and modern CI/CD methodologies and toolsAutomating cloud orchestration with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to scale servicesExperience with Cloud-native development frameworks and tools e.g. VPC, Lambda, SNSUnderstanding of modern cloud scalability to right-size resources to meet platforms computing needsAnalytics and KPI usage to continuously evolve and improve Cloud PlatformsKnowledgeable of modern cloud architecture and holistic developer experience.Soft SkillsAbility to train and develop mid-senior level engineersStrong understanding of mission-critical environmentsAbility to advise technical and non-technical stakeholders on Cloud Strategy and solutionsStrong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skillsToolsPublic Cloud Services: AWSInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, JSON, YAML, and ARM TemplatesPrograming/Scripting: Shell Script, Python, PHP, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, and AWS step functionsOS: LinuxDevOps Practices: Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)Networking: Understanding cloud network architecture, VPCs, and load balancingSecurity: Implementing security best practices, access control, and data encryptionCompliance: Adhering to industry regulations and compliance standards
