Area Manager
As an Area Manager - Bracing & Supports - Southern California, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our innovative bracing and support solutions across your designated region. You will act as a strategic partner to medical professionals, delivering high-impact sales presentations and building long-term relationships within the hospital and clinical ecosystem. Your mission is to expand our market share and ensure our life-enhancing orthopedic products reach the patients who need them most.What You’ll DoDrive Regional Growth: Attain or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives for the full product portfolio within the LA County and Central California area.Strategic Clinical Engagement: Deliver personalized sales presentations to key decision-makers across hospital departments (Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Trauma, ER, Materials Management) and private clinics (O&P offices, Physical Therapy).Relationship Management: Develop and maintain deep clinical partnerships to expand the core customer base and implement effective sales strategies.Operational Excellence: Utilize data-driven territory reports to plan activities, manage expenses proactively, and maintain 90%+ technical competency on all product testing.Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with independent representatives and distribution partners to align on goals and maximize market penetration.Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive activity and industry trends, providing actionable feedback to management to protect and grow our market position.Who You AreA Strategic Closer: You have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.A Clinical Communicator: You can translate technical product specifications into clinical benefits, maintaining a professional demeanor that reflects our premium brand.A Self-Starter: You possess strong organizational and time-management skills, allowing you to manage a high-output area with minimal supervision.An Ethical Leader: You carry out responsibilities with the highest level of integrity, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Life Sciences or a Business discipline.Experience: 3+ years of experience in direct field sales.Travel: Ability to maintain a rigorous travel schedule (up to 50% travel).Preferred QualificationsDirect experience selling Orthotics & Prosthetics (O&P), Physical Therapy, or Orthopedic medical products.Strong analytical skills with the ability to use territory databases to drive profitability.Existing relationships within hospital systems and private clinics in LA County or Central California.
