Factory Simulation Engineer
Overview
Join Hadrian’s Special Projects division to design, develop, and deploy precision tooling and simulation systems across a growing factory network. You will work with leadership, automation, and operations to build data-driven simulations that enable scalable, high-performance manufacturing of large parts. You’ll maintain a robust simulation toolchain and create reusable assets that shape future factories. This role offers impact across manufacturing, software, and operations in a mission to reindustrialize American production.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and refine simulations at multiple fidelity levels aligned with factory build goalsTranslate layout concepts into executable DES and 3D simulationsCollaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership to deliver actionable insightsMaintain and enhance the simulation toolchain for long-term scalability and usabilityBuild and manage a library of parametric, reusable simulation assets
Key requirementsStrong systems thinking with rapid prototyping and sustainable platform designSimulation development experience using Python (OOP) and Visual Components or similar toolsAbility to distill technical results into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiencesSelf-driven with ability to take initiatives from concept to MVP with measurable impactFamiliarity with kinematics, PLC interfaces, and discrete event simulation methodologiesCross-functional communicationUser-focused storytelling and iterative designProactive, self-motivatedPython (OOP)Visual Components or similar toolsCAD platforms (SolidWorks, NX)
