This role is vital to ensuring our customers needs are consistently met, promoting our companys continued strong national growth./ppSupervisory Responsibilities: None/ppInternal Relationships: All Departments/ppExternal Relationships: Occasional and incidental contact with customers or prospective customers/ppTraits Displayed:/pulliAbility to exude high energy, solution-based thinking, while focusing great attention to detail and maintaining a service-oriented disposition./liliContribute to a work environment that promotes pride in being part of a winning team and encourages personal and professional growth and success./liliAssure productivity and high-quality standards are constant so that the company and employees collectively enjoy optimum financial returns, job security, personal career growth and excellent service to customers./liliAbility to provide exemplary and consistent customer satisfaction, with a strong capacity for building relationships./li/ulpPrimary Responsibilities:/pulliResponsible for the receiving, movement, and storing of product/liliManage inventory locations of raw, component and WIP/liliDrive inventory transaction accuracy ulliTransactions to and from bin locations (Goal is 95% accuracy)/liliJobs are kitted/checked in correctly/li/ul/liliEnsures weld kitting efforts meet full kit targets daily ulliGoal is 2 days in front of welding (Per resource)/li/ul/liliCycle count activities (Counting) ulliInvolved with counting manufactured/purchased components (Goal is 95% accuracy)/liliEnd of year inventory/li/ul/liliCommunicate with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department, and other Supervisors on material status (shortages, discrepancies, roadblocks)/liliParticipate in 8D and other root cause and corrective analysis for inventory errors./liliHelp lead kaizen events such as 6s and other continuous improvements. ulliFiling out 6s daily checklist (keeps area orderly)/liliBe involved/lead a 6s event initiatives./li/ul/liliDevelop and implement standard practices to improve inventory control and material movement. ulliThis accomplishes an accurate inventory to meet production needs and in return a more efficient and effective kitting process./li/ul/liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pMinimum Requirements :/pulliForklift experience (2 years minimum)/liliShipping/receiving experience (1 year minimum)/liliPrevious experience working as a Lead overseeing 10-20 employees preferred./liliInventory experience/liliAbility to read a tape measure and use basic math skills/liliUses proper PPE and follows all safety procedures./liliBasic computer skills/li/ulpEnvironment/Physical Requirements with or without Accommodation:/pulliMust be able to lift up to 100lbs./liliPosition requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time./liliPosition may require bending, kneeling, and stooping./liliExposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals./li/ulpAll qualified applicants will receive considerations for employment without regard to race, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
