Accountant Job Description Process month-end plant journal entries and prepare balance sheet reconciliations Monitors and maintains plant policies and procedures Standard Cost Accounting reviewing and analyzing standard costs for raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods Review production order variances Analyzes cycle count and inventory data on a rotational basis Maintain other plant compliance topics. Including but not limited to HR, Shipping/Receiving, Fixed Assets/MRO, and Production. Present summaries and executive-style reporting to management for summarization of compliance Work directly with internal/external audit on resolution of current findings and prevention of future findings Ad hoc reports as needed Qualifications: BA/BS degree in accounting required Public accounting or internal audit experience preferred 3+ years in accounting Direct Plant/Manufacturing experience desirable Must have strong analytical skills and experience in analysis Ability to effectively interact with operating units and other departments What You'll Get From Us With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
