Addictions Counselor
Seeking: Addictions CounselorDegree: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Additions or similar human service field.Licensure: Licensed or Certified Addiction Counselor with the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapist RequiredExperience: At least 2-3 yrs experience with Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Population; Child/Adult ExperienceWork Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday; Saturday's from 9:00 am to 1: 00 pmQualifications and requirements:At minimum, counselors must have approved trainee status, certification or licensure through the Board of Professional Counselors and TherapistsPositive attitudeCapability to work in a team atmosphereKnowledge of addictionComfortable with computers and computer softwareExcellent Documentation skills!Must have active certification Status, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC/LGPC, LCPC/LCADC through the Maryland Board of Professional CounselorsTasks Maintain an assigned caseloadComplete clinical assessmentsComplete and maintain patient treatment plansProvide individual and group counseling sessionsMaintain electronic patient chartsProvide care coordination with outside providers and treatment programs as needed
