Lexus of Bellevue, a dealership in the O'Brien Auto Group, is currently hiring for a Full-Time Parts Counterperson. Seeking an experienced parts counterperson to sell parts at our busy Bellevue location. We are looking for an enthusiastic person, with attention to detail, that can assist retail customers, wholesale shops, and technicians in our service department with parts and information.This position will be a commission-based position that is driven off team success along with the growth of the store. This position has a base salary of $2,000 plus 1.0% of Lexus of Bellevue's current statement month's Total Parts. Subject to eligibility requirements, we offer the following benefits:BonusesVacation - based on hire date and paid based on position.Medical/Dental/Vision/RXAncillary Benefits such as Short/Long Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Life Insurance, Spousal/Child coverages401(k) plus company matchThe Parts Counterperson will be responsible for accurately obtaining parts for customers using electronic parts catalogs and other computer applications, while providing the very best experience.Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:Look-up and hand-out parts and accessories for technicians and customersUse electronic parts catalog and manufacturers website to source parts and informationRespond to customer inquiries by email, phone, and in person.Create invoices and collect paymentAchieve parts sales goals while providing outstanding customer experiencesProvide information, pricing, and availability of parts for service department and customers.Successfully Interact with parts team, technicians, service advisors, retail and wholesale customers.Order parts, accessories, and tires from manufacturer and suppliersPrepare, package, and ship parts and accessories using common carriersReceipt parts into inventory and maintain inventory in proper bin locationsensuring the quality and promptness of all parts requestsStock incoming inventory to the proper bin locationMaintain parts department in clean and orderly mannerPerform various shipping and receiving functions, and other administrative tasksPreferred Qualifications:Proficiency with computers and ability to read parts diagramsGeneral automotive knowledge with ability to identify car parts.Experience with auto part sales preferred but not required.Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred but not required.Ability to communicate suitably through email, phone, or in personA desire and drive to be successful with a positive attitudeQualified candidates will have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background checkEquipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used: Phone, computer, adding machine, copier, calculator, stapler, fax machine, pencils/pens, letter opener, scissors, rulers, measuring tools, pallet jack, barcode scanner, and hand tools.Chemicals: Numerous chemicals are used/handled on a limited basis. Employees will be trained by their supervisor on the safe handling/use of these substances. Employee will always follow all safety directives.Physical Demands: Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; lifting of 20lbs or less on a frequent basis and carrying of 10lbs or less on a frequent basis; frequent pushing and pulling, twisting, and turning of trunk, reaching and handling of objects; occasional climbing, balancing and crawlingEmployment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background screening.
