In this role, you will is responsible for developing, managing, and analyzing program budgets, forecasts, cost models, and performance metrics. You will also interface closely with the customer Program Manager (PM) and Program Management Office (PMO), to include, contracts, finance, accounts receivable, procurement and subcontract management, to ensure accurate execution against financial goals. This principal-level position requires deep government contracting knowledge, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to influence decisions through expert analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial planning activities for assigned programs, including budgets, forecasts, EACs, and revenue projectionsPerform detailed cost tracking, variance analysis, and performance reporting for cost-plus, T&M, and fixed price programsPrepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and program review materials for leadershipPartner with Program Managers to interpret financial data, evaluate risks/opportunities, and support strategic decisionsDevelop and review complex BOEs, pricing models, and proposal inputs for new business and contract modificationsEnsure compliance with FAR/DFARS, CAS, internal policies, and customer requirementsCoordinate with accounting, contracts, and procurement to validate data and resolve issuesSupport internal and external audits, financial reviews, and data integrity checksSubmit and maintain purchase requisitions for materialsDrive process improvements in forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and financial controlsSupport other programmatic ad hoc requests, as needed, and adapt to the customer processesQualificationsMust currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly in order to be considered for the positionBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field15+ years of program control or financial analysis experience in a government contracting environmentExperience in providing financial tracking and support for the government customers in areas of Program Control, Finance, Cost Estimating, Financial Analysis, or AccountingComplete understanding of financial analysis such as return on sales (ROS), return on cost (ROC), annual operating plans, accounts receivable, and revenue/profit forecastingAbility to prepare program baseline data, EAC development and cost estimating/pricing and complex variance analysisDeep understanding of indirect rate structures, and government contract typesAbility to balance long-term thinking with short-term executionHigh proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) and experience with ERP systems such as Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, or similar
