The client is seeking an innovative and visionary leader for the role of Dean of the School of Liberal Arts. This position is critical for driving the strategic, academic, and administrative functions of the School.
Serving approximately 12,000 students, the client offers diverse bachelor's degree programs and is recognized for excellence in student engagement. The School of Liberal Arts provides a comprehensive array of majors, including Cinema and Media Arts Production, Criminal Justice, English, History, and others, while also offering five Nexus Degrees in partnership with the Georgia Film Academy.
These programs are designed to prepare students for Georgia's growing film and digital entertainment sectors through hands-on and experiential learning opportunities.
The Dean will report directly to the Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs/Provost and will be responsible for positioning the School for future success. This will involve building upon the School's legacy of academic excellence and commitment to providing students access to success.
Additionally, the English Language Institute, part of the School of Liberal Arts, plays a crucial role as a resource for non-native English speakers. The client is looking for a leader with the creativity, talent, and experience necessary to lead these efforts and continue enhancing the institution's academic reputation.
