Family Law Paralegal

Family Focused Legal Solutions (formerly Ruvolo Law Group) LLC is looking to immediately hire an experienced full-time paralegal for our thriving family law firm in Morristown, New Jersey. Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a contribution toward health, vision, dental and retirement benefits. The position requires presence in our office from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Preparing Case Information Statements, pleadings, discovery, and various legal forms specific to family law Compiling/finalizing/filing/serving all documents needed for pleadings, discovery, motions, trial prep, etc. Communicating with clients as needed and as appropriate Our ideal candidate must have all the following qualities: Enjoys working collaboratively on a team Ability to multitask projects and clients Experienced in preparing the legal work product described above Proficient at Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook Proficient in or willing to immediately learn LEAP Practice Management Program Willingness to learn new computer programs Hard worker, but also laid back and friendly Dog lover (we often have our furry friends in our office) Appreciation of the business of operating a law firm Attention to detail Organized and neat Team player, willingness to help with other tasks in the office Excellent time management skills Ability to take ownership of projects and tasks delegated to you in a timely manner Trustworthy and reliable Sense of humor (Family law is stressful and we all need to laugh) Respectful of all people, regardless of color, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or whether they prefer dogs or cats Lives within a reasonable commuting distance from our Morristown office Agree with enthusiasm to feature yourself in our unconventional annual holiday card If this list of qualities screams out your name and you are ready to make a move, please email your and to info@familyfocusedlegal.com.
