Data Visualization Analyst

This Contractor will pull data from the client hydrological data warehouse (DBHydro), meteorological data (Nexrad), ecological database (ERDP/DataOne), and geospatial repositories (ArcGIS Online) creating a comprehensive data set that can be consumed by the Power BI tools. This data set needs to be defined in business terminology so that each field is clearly defined. Requirements: 5 or more years of experience data modeling 5 or more years of experience writing Oracle SQL 5 or more years of experience with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) Proficient skills in Microsoft Power BI specifically o Data Source Connections/Retrieval/Refreshing o Data Transformation and ETL o Data Modeling o Microsoft Dataverse o Quick Measures Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT related field is required Ability to work in an agile team environment Experience using Microsoft TEAMS is preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills Job Type: Contract Pay: From $60.00 per hour Experience: SQL: 5 years (Required) Oracle: 5 years (Required) Work Location: On the road
