Support preconstruction efforts such as budgeting, value engineering, and proposal preparation. Transition awarded projects from estimating to execution, ensuring accurate scope handoff to the project team. Assist Project Managers with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation. Track costs, update budgets, and support forecasting throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to support schedules and deliverables. Participate in project meetings and assist with reporting and closeout documentation. A successful Construction Assistant Project Manager should have: 2-5+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Estimator with a general contractor. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across both preconstruction and operations. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with estimating, project management, and field teams.
