In-Process Inspector 1Onsite in Chandler, AZ Direct Hire Opportunity Target salary range: $24.00/HourlyWe are hiring an In-Process Quality Inspector in Chandler, AZ, to support aerospace manufacturing quality assurance, dimensional inspections, First Article Inspections (FAIs), and in-process surveillance audits. This direct hire opportunity requires experience with precision measuring tools, engineering drawings, IPC standards, inspection documentation, and manufacturing compliance processes within regulated production environments.Responsibilities:Perform routine in-process dimensional and electrical inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other basic toolsInterpret engineering drawings and written work instructions to evaluate product conformanceExecute accurate recordkeeping and inspection documentationUse precision measuring and electrical test equipment per established inspection proceduresConduct and document First Article Inspections (FAIs) as requiredPerform In-Process Surveillance Audits to ensure manufacturing complianceUtilize MS Office (Excel, Word) and enterprise systems like Agile and Visual for reporting and tracking inspectionsCommunicate inspection results clearly; interface with customer quality representatives as neededSupport departmental goals by prioritizing tasks to reduce production delaysAttend off-site training to maintain inspection certifications (e.g., IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610)Maintain flexibility to work across departments or shifts as business needs requirePerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or quality leadQualifications:U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal LawEducation: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: 13 years of mechanical or in-process inspection experienceFamiliarity with mechanical measurement tools (calipers, micrometers)Experience interpreting technical drawings and specificationsCertifications: IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, and J-STD-001 certifications preferredSkills: Basic math, verbal, and written communication skillsComputer literate; experience with MS Office, Agile, Visual (or similar platforms)Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skillsPhysical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbsAble to read and write in EnglishBenefits:PTO401KHealth Insurance (medical, dental, optical)Tuition reimbursementParental leave (mothers, fathers, and adoptive parents)In addition to the benefits you'd expect, we also offer flexibility, stability, and prosperity:A bonus payment for all associates, paid quarterly, based on performance and behavior metrics.70 years of trend setters & trail blazers with new products.Promote from within the culture.Opportunity to move vertically or laterally.A culture where we all have a role in building a community where everyone belongs.
