Instructors will primarily work recreational classes, school break camps, birthday parties, and special events. This is a part-time hourly position, with the possibility of moving to full-time status.Responsibilities:Teach gymnastics classes to children between the ages of 1-16 years oldCreate and follow lesson plans for a variety of ages and abilitiesBe prepared for class by arriving on time and knowing students names and where they are in the program progressionCommunicate with students, staff, and parents when requiredBring energy and enthusiasm to each classAbility to work in a team environmentComplete USA Gymnastics Safety Certification and SafeSport Certification (may complete within 1st month of employment)The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.About You:You are dependable, punctual, and passionate about gymnastics or Ninja and working with children. You have:Qualifications3-5+ years of gymnastics coaching experience, primarily in recreational programmingStrong understanding of progressions from preschool through advanced recreational levelsExperience running structured classes with clear lesson plans and measurable skill developmentConfident spotting across all four events (Bars, Beam, Floor, Vault) within a recreational settingProven ability to manage multiple stations and maintain safe coach-to-athlete ratiosDemonstrated classroom management skills in high-energy environmentsExperience creating a fun, positive atmosphere while maintaining discipline and structureStrong parent communication skills and professionalismAbility to mentor newer coaches and model best practices on the floorCPR/AED & First Aid certifiedUSAG membership preferred (or willingness to obtain)Availability for evenings and weekends
