Job Description Position: Occupational TherapistSalary Range: $44.58-$47.52 per hourSchedule: 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday (no weekend rotation)Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required, new graduates will not be considered for this position.Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages who have physical, mental, or developmental conditions that impact their ability to perform daily tasks and activities. Your role will be to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and help them regain or improve their independence and functioning.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical, mental, and emotional abilities and limitationsDevelop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goalsProvide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipmentMonitor and track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patientsEducate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve daily functioning and independenceDocument all patient treatment and progress in a timely and accurate mannerStay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in occupational therapy and incorporate them into treatment plans as appropriateAdhere to all ethical and legal standards in the field of occupational therapyQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programMinimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a clinical or hospital settingCurrent state license to practice occupational therapyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsCompassionate and patient-centered approach to careAbility to adapt to changing patient needs and treatment plansFamiliarity with electronic medical records and documentationWillingness to continue learning and attend professional development opportunities
